Kharga Golf Club Ambala Cantt

It is over 100 years old golf course in the region which make it one of the oldest golf courses. It was popular sport among the officers during British Period. After Independence it was remained in no use and bring back to life in mid fifties. In 1972, its management came under the control of Army. It was then renamed as “Golden Lion Club”. It was renamed as Kharga Golf Club when Kharga Corps moved to Ambala Cantonment. In 2000-01, the 12 greens of the golf club was extended from 12 greens to 18 greens.
